ABOUT ME
Hi!! My name is Mira Rose Morris and I'm happy you're here :)
I am a performer, musician, arts administrator, and educator in the DMV. I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but moved to DC and received a BA in Musical Theatre from American University as well as a duel degree in Communication Studies. At American, I was an active member of the Department of the Performing Arts, most recently seen in AU's productions of 9 to 5: The Musical (Margaret) and As You Like It (Taub) (Miss Amiens, Guitarist, u/s Duke Frederick).
Currently, I work as the Theatre for Young Audiences Intern at the Kennedy Center, a lead teacher at Imagination Stage, and a Jewish Educator at Temple Micah. I am incredibly passionate about the future of arts education and love creating.
Additionally, I am also performing! This spring, I am swinging NextStop Theater's production of Once and I could not be more excited. Through performance and education, I truly do believe that theatre has the power to change lives.
In the little bits of free time I have, I love spending time with my family and friends, playing instruments, reading, puzzling, and watching movies.
Thank you for visiting my site!
